Happy Mothers Day to all the mums in our parish. Do I tend to think of God as being distant, or believe that God dwells within me, is I in you? #Sunday #Gospel #Easter The @parracatholic Mission Enhancement Team invites you to celebrate Pentecost through prayer and Scripture. This special evening will feature guest speaker Dr Michele Connolly RSJ, who will offer a reflection on the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in the Church today. Come be renewed, inspired, and sent forth by the power of the Spirit. The disciples are concerned by the news that Jesus will leave them. Do I trust in God when my heart is troubled? #Sunday #Gospel #Easter Do you need to complete safeguarding training? The sheep hear his voice. Do I allow myself the opportunity to hear Christ’s voice in prayer? #Sunday #Gospel #Easter Almighty everlasting God, Jesus was alongside them. Do I trust that Jesus is always there with me, even when I feel lost or alone? #Sunday #Gospel #Easter How often do we behave like Thomas when we are at a cross road and ask for, - “Lord, give me the sign and I will accept and believe?” #Sunday #Gospel #Easter Thank you to everyone who participated in, and contributed to our Easter Triduum celebrations. It was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate and allow themselves to be drawn deeper into the mystery of Christ's passion, death and resurrection. Alleluia! Christ is Risen! “..he saw and believed; as yet they did not understand..”. That’s the apostles’ faith in Christ’s resurrection. How does Jesus’ resurrection affect me? #EasterSunday #Gospel
