The Scriptures of the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity focus not so much on the Church's teaching of the Holy Trinity; important as it is. Rather, they focus on the love of God. The mystery of the Trinity is one of God's continually unfolding love for us. God is love, and calls us to love. #Sunday #Gospel
Last night at our 6:00 pm Mass, we celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation with Bishop Vincent and thirty-two young parishioners. Please pray for them, that the Holy Spirit will be their helper and guide throughout their lives. Congratulations to our newly confirmed parishioners, their families and everyone who has supported them in their journey of faith.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful,
With Jesus' ascension into heaven, we know that Christ remains with us now in an unchanging way, by the power of the Holy Spirit that he promised the apostles. Knowing that God is with us and guides us, may we work to continue Jesus' commission to spread the Good News. #Sunday #Gospel
