Jesus was alongside them. Do I trust that Jesus is always there with me, even when I feel lost or alone? #Sunday #Gospel #Easter How often do we behave like Thomas when we are at a cross road and ask for, - “Lord, give me the sign and I will accept and believe?” #Sunday #Gospel #Easter Thank you to everyone who participated in, and contributed to our Easter Triduum celebrations. It was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate and allow themselves to be drawn deeper into the mystery of Christ's passion, death and resurrection. Alleluia! Christ is Risen! “..he saw and believed; as yet they did not understand..”. That’s the apostles’ faith in Christ’s resurrection. How does Jesus’ resurrection affect me? #EasterSunday #Gospel Are you joining us for the most holy night in the Church's year? Tonight we celebrate the Easter Vigil, rejoicing in Jesus' triumph over sin and death and gift of new life. It's a celebration of what is at the very heart of being a Christian. Mass begins at 7:30 pm (there is no 6:00 pm Mass tonight). Today we commemorate Jesus' sacrificing his own life so that we may have eternal life. Join us for the Celebration of the Passion of the Lord today at 3:00 pm (no 9:00 am Mass today). Stations of the Cross will be prayed at 9:00 am, followed by Reconciliation. Tonight we begin the most solemn time of the Church's year. The Easter Triduum begins with the Mass of the Lord's Supper. Join us at 7:30 pm (no 9:00 am Mass today). Adoration tonight concludes with Night Prayer at 10:00 pm. As we celebrate the most holy days of the Church’s year, we have prepared a collection of prayer celebrations that can help you to continue your observation and celebration of these days at home.
