Life is full of choices and challenges, and it is easy to go for the path of least resistance. Do I have the courage and trust in God to instead choose the right path of discipleship, despite the cost? #Sunday #Gospel Jesus sends the 'harvesters' out to carry out works of love and mercy, not just in his name, but in his way. Do I hope to receive recognition for my actions, or do I love freely as I have been loved? #Sunday #Gospel Strengthened by the food that God gives us, let us bring Jesus to the hearts of all, because Jesus involves everyone in his work of salvation by calling each of us to sit at his table. Blessed are those who are called, for they become witnesses of this love! - Pope Leo XIV #Sunday #Gospel #CorpusChristi Too often we create false images of God: the angry, punishing God, the demanding God, the God who rejects those who don't meet specific criteria. Do I try to reject these images and rejoice in the fact that God loves? #Sunday #Gospel They rejoiced when they saw him. Do I live with the joy of someone who knows Jesus? #PentecostSunday #Gospel #Easter What do I do to help lead people to Christ, and so fulfil the command to go and baptise them? #Sunday #Gospel #Easter Happy Mothers Day to all the mums in our parish. Do I tend to think of God as being distant, or believe that God dwells within me, is I in you? #Sunday #Gospel #Easter The @parracatholic Mission Enhancement Team invites you to celebrate Pentecost through prayer and Scripture. This special evening will feature guest speaker Dr Michele Connolly RSJ, who will offer a reflection on the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in the Church today. Come be renewed, inspired, and sent forth by the power of the Spirit. The disciples are concerned by the news that Jesus will leave them. Do I trust in God when my heart is troubled? #Sunday #Gospel #Easter Do you need to complete safeguarding training? The sheep hear his voice. Do I allow myself the opportunity to hear Christ’s voice in prayer? #Sunday #Gospel #Easter
